Green Horizon plans 36 MW data centre worth EUR 300 mln near Stavanger
Norwegian data centre company Green Horizon said it has planning approval for its first facility, called Norway 1. It had already secured zoning approval for the site near Stavanger and will now progress towards final design and construction. Green Horizon is working with international consultants and a contractor, aiming to start building the 36 MW centre later this year and be ready for service in the second half of 2027. The EUR 300 million development will create approximately 400 construction jobs.

Google is believed to have placed a booking with Intel supply over 3 million of its custom-designed tensor processing microchips (TPUs), designed to accelerate matrix AI calculations in its data centres and Pixel smartphones. While an official confirmation is still to emerge, California-based technology journal The Information cited unnamed sources with a direct understanding of ongoing deal discussions. The report indicated Intel would begin shipping commercial volumes to Google sometime in 2028.

Peruvian mobile lines top 39 mln in Q1
The number of active Peruvian mobile lines climbed 2.9 percent year on year to reach 39.4 million at the end of March 2026, up from 38.3 million a year earlier, according to the latest data from telecommunications regulator Osiptel. Total lines (with or without traffic) came to 42.2 million. Active postpay lines reached a record 20.6 million at the end of the first quarter, up 12.4 percent year on year and equivalent to 52.3 percent of the total, said the watchdog.
