Friday 14 September 2012 | 12:33 CET | News
3 Denmark will officially launch its 4G network in the country's largest cities on 28 September, the date when the operator will also start selling the iPhone 5. The network will cover 37 percent of the population at launch and coverage will be increased to half of the population by the end of the year. In July, the operator announced it was in the process of rolling out LTE, and that customers would benefit from it in September. 3 Denmark uses LTE frequencies in the 1,800 MHz (supported by iPhone 5) and 2,600 MHz bands.
