Tuesday 10 March 2009 | 14:08 CET | News
Albanian Mobile Communication (AMC) has launched a new messaging service targeting young people. Called Zlango, the service can be tested free of charge until end-April. Zlango is designed to replace the words of a message by icons. To use the service, customers should install an application on their handsets by sending a free SMS with the text Zlango to the 15155 short number, after which they will receive a link to download the tool. Users can also activate the service online at the operator's website or at AMC shops across Albania. Once they register, service users will be able to send Zlango messages (ZMS) free of charge until 30 April. After this date, customers will be charged ALL 15 (VAT not included) per ZMS.
