AME fixed operators to profit despite a challenging climate

While total fixed services revenue in Africa and the Middle East (AME) will experience a progressive decline in most telecommunication markets in AME during the next five years, fixed operators will profit despite a challenging climate, according to a study by Pyramid Research. Overall fixed service revenue across AME will grow from USD 26.2 billion this year to reach USD 27.2 billion by 2016, a CAGR of 1 percent.
