Apple's iPhone 5 first in 3 Sweden's sales classification

Friday 9 November 2012 | 13:47 CET | News
3 Sweden announced that Apple's iPhone 5 maintained its first position in its top 10 best selling handsets for October. The next smartphones in the classification were Samsung Galaxy S3, iPhone 4, Sony Xperia Miro, iPhone 4S, Samsung Galaxy Gio, Nokia Lumia 610, Samsung Galaxy S2, Huawei F685 and HTC One X. Although five of the phones in the top ten are powered by the Android platform, Apple also won the battle on the operating systems segment, a success explained by the recent launch of Apple's latest iPhone model. Most recently, the operator's sales of Android smartphones were higher than of those powered by iOS. This classification took into account the sales through 3 Sweden's website, tele-sales and customer service and 3 Sweden's 65 shops.
