Vodafone New Zealand has launched a beta version of Pocket Life. Pocket Life is a new GPS location based social network on www.pocketlife.com. Pocket Life is a joint project of web and mobile start ups and Vodafone. The service, open to subscribers of any mobile network, allows users to connect and communicate with other Pocket Life users. The service further features social network aggregation with websites like Facebook, and allows users to share photos and locations. While in beta the service is free but there may be data charges associated with using the service.
