Brazilian mobile telephony operator Claro has started marketing the Xperia X1 from Sony Ericsson. The slider handset comes with a touch-screen, qwerty keyboard, GPS, Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and Wi-Fi. The X1 has a 3.2 megapixel camera with the touch Focus function, MP3 player, FM radio and a slot for a memory card up to 8 GB. The device is on sale in Claro shops throughout Brazil for BRL 1299 as part of the Estilo 300+ 250 MB package.
