Deutsche Telekom plans fixed/mobile merger in Q1 2010 Friday 4 September 2009 | 08:59 AM CET
 
Deutsche Telekom will start merging its fixed and mobile divisions in Germany in the first quarter of 2010 using the One Company concept, if the extraordinary shareholders meeting on 19 November of this year approves the plan, according to T-Home management board member Christian Illek at Deutsche Telekom's press conference during this year's IFA. Designated CEO of the German operations, Niek Jan van Damme said that T-Home's and T-Mobile's service and sales departments have already been integrated for 80 percent and the marketing, technology and products will follow suit.
