VocalTec, Runcom unveil integrated WiMAX/VoIP products

Global VoIP services developer VocalTec Communications partners with Israel/based OFDMA/Wimax developer Runcom have unveiled their integrated Wimax VoIP solution at the AfricaCom Conference and Exhibition. The companies will collaborate on the provisioning of WiMAX VoIP solutions to service providers in emerging telecom markets. The joint offering enables the delivery of both broadband and voice services to remote areas where traditional access is unavailable, assuring interoperability and ease of deployment. It also allows service providers to effectively provide high quality VoIP services to their subscribers at low cost.
