3Com wins contract at Brazil's Federal Department of Justice

US network infrastructure supplier 3Com has won a contract at Brazil's Federal Department of Justice. The Justice department has selected 3Com and its H3C enterprise networking services to modernize the Republic's Attorney General's offices. As part of the network upgrade project, 3Com will deploy its 140 H3C S7500E multi-service routing switches in the distribution layer, its 50 H3C S5600 Gigabit stackable switches at the network edge, and its Intelligent Management Centre network management software. Working with its channel partner Redisul, 3Com will initially install equipment in 44 Federal Department of Justice's regional branches.
