France Telecom has appointed a new management committee for French operations, effective from 6 April. The new organisation was announced by group CEO Stephane Richard and executive vice president and deputy for French operations Delphine Ernotte. It has been tasked with implementing the new social contract currently under development, meeting the group's revenue, market share and profit goals in France, and strengthening the reliability and quality of its services, products and customer relations. Four executives have kept their current functions: technical director Philippe Chicaud, financial control director Bernard Ansart, major projects director Benoit Eymard, and territorial programmes and human resources director Jacque Moulin. The new appointees are Northwest Centre territorial director Jerome Barre, who becomes director of retail sales; director of communications Alice Holzman, who becomes deputy director of retail services; information systems director Laurent Kocher, who will be director of enterprise sales; customer marketing director Odile Roujol, now director of communications; operating processes director Laurent Benatar becomes information systems director; and transformation, performance and internal communications director David Richard takes up the post of director of quality and performance. France Telecom also named a team of eleven territorial directors, nine for metropolitan France and two for the French departments in the Caribbean and Reunion/Mayotte areas.
