AudioCodes moves to net loss in Q1

Tuesday 8 May 2012 | 07:37 CET | News
VoIP equipment provider AudioCodes' revenues for the first quarter fell to USD 32.3 million from USD 41 million in the same period last year. AudioCodes' first quarter revenues were below our original forecast and reflected a faster than anticipated decline in our legacy business. These lower revenues reflect weakness in sales in North America including, among others, a decline in legacy OEM business and lower than anticipated government and technology sales. The company moved to a net loss of USD 1.56 million or USD 0.04 loss per share from a net profit of USD 3 million or USD 0.07 per share. Cash and cash equivalents amounted to USD 25.47 million at the end of the period.
