Azerbaijan mobile operators sign protocol on LTE

Azerbaijan mobile operators Bakcell, Nar Mobile and Azercell have signed a protocol on the introduction of LTE, reports Trend. The coordination of frequencies will be carried out by the operators themselves under the protocol. Ali Abbasov, the Minister of ICT, said that LTE licences won't be necessary for the deployment of LTE networks. The Ministry has set a three-month deadline for the launch of LTE services.
