Cabocom receives third ISP licence in Cape Verde

Tuesday 12 February 2008 | 08:45 CET | News
Cape Verde's National Communications Agency (Anac) has awarded a third ISP licence to Cabocom. The authorisation is similar to the permit awarded to the CVWiFi company, in December. Currently, three operators are licensed: Cabo Verde Multimedia, CVWiFi and now Cabocom, although only the first, owned by the Cabo Verde Telecom group, is effectively operational. According to the latest data available, there are around 7,000 internet users in Cape Verde.
