Saturday 4 February 2012 | 12:21 CET | News
Cote d'Ivoire mobile operators have been put on notice by the posts and ICT ministry about their service quality, Notre Voie reports. Minister Kone Bruno said that quality was so bad that some consumers are speaking of fraudulent service. Most businesses see telecoms and the internet as a matter for concern, according to chamber of commerce surveys. He said it was hard to understand why operators are blaming network dysfunctions eight months after the end of the country's political crisis. The minister also ordered mobile operators, which include Cote d'Ivoire Telecom, Orange Cote d'Ivoire, GreenN, Moov and MTN Cote d'Ivoire, to complete its subscriber ID process within a year.
