Darty starts taking orders for Google Nexus 7

French consumer electronics chain Darty has started taking online orders for the Google Nexus 7 tablet ahead of its release on 3 September, Echos du Net reports. The retailer is selling the product for EUR 237.40. The Nexus 7 runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and features a 7-in touchscreen with a 1,280 x 800 pixel resolution. It is built around a 1.3Ghz quad-core processor with 1 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of memory. The Nexus 7 has a 1.2 megapixel frontal camera, Wi-Fi N, Bluetooth and NFC.
