DFL plans 19 rights packages for football broadcasts

The German Football Federation (DFL) has announced that bids for broadcasting rights for Bundesliga games in the 2013/2014 to 2016/2017 seasons must be submitted by 02 April. There are 19 rights packages and six bundles of right packages for the distribution channels of cable, satellite, terrestrial, IPTV, web and mobile TV. The final decision will be made by the end of the 2011/2012 season.
