Egypt names deputy ICT minister

The Egyptian government has named Noha Adly Mohamed Abdel Rahman as the First Deputy to the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, starting 01 March. Adly obtained her PhD in Computer Science from Cambridge University in the UK in 1995, and worked also as a Professor of Computer and Systems Engineering at Alexandria University. She was also a Head of the ICT sector at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and chaired the international institute for IT studies at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
