El Corte Ingles to sell Samsung Galaxy S5 at EUR 699

Spanish department store chain El Corte Ingles has started taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone ahead of its launch date of 11 April. The store is offering the 16 GB version of the smartphone in black and white for EUR 699 without a contract, with the blue version available from 17 April. The gold version of the phone will be sold exclusively by Vodafone in Spain. The Android 4.4 device was launched at Mobile World Congress last month and features a 16 megapixel main camera, 5.1-inch screen, 2.5 GHz quad-core processor and 2,800 mAh battery.
