Ericsson and Gemalto have signed a partnership agreement to provide Dynamic Device Subscription Management. The partnership provides an integrated service comprising the Ericsson Device Connection and Gemalto Subscription Management Platforms.
The combination of platforms, fully operated, aims to reduce complexity of M2M deployments for mobile network operators. The service also remotely manages devices without the need to change the eUICC during the entire life cycle of a device.
The service will be demonstrated at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. In addition M2M connectivity provider Telenor Connexion will demonstrate the service in the GSMA Connected City.
