Foxconn to acquire Ambit Microsystems

Ambit Microsystems is due to be acquired by Foxconn Electronics, trade name for Hon Hai Precision Industry, in 2004, via a stock swap. The boards of both firms have agreed that one Ambit share will be swapped for 0.672 shares in Foxconn. The two firms aim to formally merge on 19 March 2004, pending approval from shareholders.
