FreedomPop selects Clearwire Wimax network

US Wimax operator Clearwire and voice and internet services provider FreedomPop have signed wholesale agreement. This will support FreedomPop's LTE mobile broadband service in the US. Clearwire currently offers wimax network covering over 130 million people in the US. As Clearwire's planned LTE advanced-ready network comes online, FreedomPop expects to be able to offer users even faster speeds. FreedomPop will pay wholesale rates for access to Clearwire's LTE network but specific terms of the agreement are not being disclosed.
