Globalstar Europe signs distribution deal with Sailornet

Globalstar Europe Satellite Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Globalstar, has signed an authorised distribution agreement with Italy-based satellite communications services provider Sailornet. Sailornet will act as a national distributor for Globalstar's suite of duplex products to the defense, government and marine sectors including commercial, leisure and yachting within the Italian Mainland Territory via their established re-seller channel. The Globalstar second-generation satellite constellation is designed to support the company's current lineup of voice, Duplex and Simplex data products and services including its lineup of Spot retail consumer products. The satellites are designed to last for fifteen years, twice the lifespan of Globalstar's first-generation satellites.
