Google launches Google Now for iOS

Tuesday 30 April 2013 | 08:56 CET | News
Google has added its Google Now voice-enabled digital assistant in an upgrade to Google Search for Apple's iOS. The app is designed to automatically give users the right information and the right time, such as the day's weather when users wake up, or alert about heavy traffic on their planned route. It can share news updates on a story the user has been following, for example, through the use of what Google calls cards.
