GVT extends broadband to Campos dos Goytacazes

Brazilian operator GVT has expanded operations to the north of the state of Rio de Janeiro, with the start of operations in Campos dos Goytacazes, a city of about 500,000 inhabitants. The operator will deliver broadband up to 150 Mbps, pay-TV and customized wireline plans. GVT invested BRL 16 million in infrastructure, generating around 500 direct and indirect jobs in the area. The operator is currently present in 148 cities in 20 Brazilian states and the Federal District.
