HCL launches new tablet range in MEA

HCL Infosystems, an India-based ICT systems and hardware company, has launched a new range of tablet computers in the Middle East and Africa (MEA). HCL launched the tablets U2, V1 and Y3 in partnership with local distributor Axiom Telecom. The U2 has an integrated HDMI connectivity port to connect the tablet to external display devices, a 1 GHz Cortex A9 CPU and an integrated front camera for video chat. The V1 tablet is a slim device combining fashion and sturdiness in an elegant form. It has a built-in Sim slot to support voice calling. The Y3 tablet has built-in 3G connectivity (HSPA) and dual-Sim support. The new tablets will be available at leading retailers across various countries in the Middle East and Africa.
