Hermes Datacomms wins managed WAN contract from Wood

Hermes Datacommunications has won a contract from Wood Group to provide managed WAN connectivity to support operations in the UK, Canada, UAE, Cameroon, Sakhalin Island (Russia) and Kazakhstan for the services division Wood Group PSN. The services are monitored and managed 24/7 from its Network Operation Centre (NOC) in the UK and support from Hermes country offices. Hermes' PoP at London Telehouse is central to the network. Hermes Datacommunications specialises in providing Wide Area Communications to the upstream oil and gas industry worldwide. It provides satellite and fibre links to some of the most remote and challenging oilfields, both onshore and offshore.
