Ingram Micro adds Motorola wireless broadband portfolio

Monday 9 November 2009 | 13:10 CET | News
Ingram Micro has extended its distribution partnership with Motorola's Enterprise Mobility Solutions business unit to add Motorola's wireless broadband services to its portfolio. Combined with Motorola's wireless LAN, wireless security and voice-over-WLAN services, the broadened portfolio enables channel partners to offer enterprise mobility services. Under the terms of the extended distribution relationship, the Ingram Micro Data Capture/POS Division will support, market and resell the complete line of Motorola's wireless broadband technology, which includes point-to-point (PTP), point-to-multipoint (PMP), outdoor mesh networks, and related accessories. The new line is available in the US and Canada through the Ingram Micro Data Capture/POS Division and will be supported by a team of dedicated Ingram Micro sales, marketing and technical staff trained to cater to Motorola channel partners.
