Inmarsat taps Apigee for mobile broadband app development

Global mobile satellite communications services provider, Inmarsat has selected Apigee's API platform to enable its Certified Application Providers (CAPs) to develop apps that leverage Global Express, a globally available mobile broadband service. Apigee's technology allows Inmarsat's partners to build applications for their market sectors with the GX network's higher bandwidth. Apigee will also provide the API management and creation layer. Inmarsat will use the Apigee Edge cloud-based service as a quick-start approach get enable Inmarsat's CAPs to launch their APIs as well as create new
