iPhone 5 receives 3C certification in China

The WCDMA and CDMA2000 versions of the Apple iPhone 5 have received the 3C certification (China Compulsory Certification) in China. The approval came quicker than expected as this certification used to take one or two months for previous iPhone models, The Shanghai Daily writes. The iPhone 5 could be launched as early as October now.
