Kyocera launches Digno S LTE smartphone

Japanese handset manufacturer Kyocera has launched the Digno S smartphone, which is compliant with KDDI's high-speed LTE network. The latest in the Kyocera Digno series of smartphones, Digno S is part of KDDI's handset lineup announced on 17 October. The smartphone is powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and features a 4.7-inch HD screen, MSM8960 (1.5GHz) dual-core processor, 8.08-megapixel camera and Smart Sonic Receiver tissue-conduction audio technology. The handset is equipped with 2,520mAh battery providing up to 1,110 minutes of talk time and up to 720 hours (3G) or 580 hours (LTE) of standby time. The Digno S also has a tethering function, allowing up to ten Wi-Fi-equipped devices to link-up. The Digno S smartphone is available in black, white, pink colours. The pricing of Digno S smartphone is determined by retailer.
