Macedonia seeks consultant for railway mobile coms system

Macedonia has opened a pre-qualification tender to prepare a study for the introduction of a global system for mobile communications (GSM-R) along the country's railway section of the pan-European Corridor X. According to information published by the European Union procurement journal on 05 February the system will be installed along corridor X from Tabanovce to Gevgelija. The maximum budget is EUR 750,000 and the deadline for the tender is 20 March, with the provisional commencement date for the contract set for 10 July.
