Masabi appoints Day as director of Engineering

UK mobile ticketing applications provider Masabi appointed Owen Day as director of Engineering. Owen will manage a team of software developers and will be responsible for building the team as the company continues its rapid growth. Owen brings considerable experience to Masabi, including roles such as the Mobile Application Development Manager for the Tesco group. At Tesco, he was responsible for building a mobile application and mobile web development team involved in the development of key product applications. This work included building the iPhone and Android Grocery and Club Card applications, the iPhone insurance application and the recipe/shopping applications for HTML 5 and the iPad.
