Maxis opens customer service centre in Kuala Terengganu

Malaysian mobile operator Maxis has opened its first Maxis centre in Kuala Terengganu. With the addition, Maxis will have one retail centre and four Maxis Exclusive Partners in Terengganu. Maxis customers in the East Coast region have been steadily growing, with Terengganu leading in terms of subscriber base increase, the company said. The operator also plans to enhance mobile coverage in the East Coast region. Maxis is working with the regulator to complete the T3 project in the East Coast region, providing and upgrading network coverage in rural areas. Maxis also intends to expand 3G coverage at sites planned for education and health initiatives, industrial areas and highways. The Maxis Centre in Kuala Terengganu is Maxis' 31st outlet in Malaysia and the third for East Coast region after Kuantan and Kota Bharu.
