Maxis unveils iPhone 5 price plans

Malaysian telecommunications provider Maxis has unveiled its price plans for the Apple iPhone 5. The operator offers five plans, starting at MYR 50 per month, which prices the 16 GB model at MYR 2,079, the 32 GB model at MYR 2,389, and the 64 GB model at MYR 2,699. The iValue Simple plan is only available on a 12-month contract. Plans range to MYR 375 per month for the iValue 4 plan, which offers the 16 GB model for free on a 24-month contract, the 32 GB model at MYR 299, and the 64 GB model at MYR 1,649. Customers can also choose a cheaper plan or shorter contract but then pay more for the device. In addition, Maxis will also be giving a special offer for its Maxis One Club members with an additional discount off their iPhone 5 if they opt for an iValue 2 plan or above.
