MEF elects North America, Latin America boards

The global community for mobile content and commerce MEF has announced the results of its 2012 North and Latin America board elections. Filipe Roup Rosa (Boku) and Andre Andrade (Titans Group) join the ten incumbent members of MEF LatAm Board currently serving a two-year regional board term. Eight new directors were elected to the MEF North America board, including Scott Gamble (Alliance Data), Gary Schwartz (Impact Mobile), Fiona Gellatly (Incomm), Brendan Eich (Mozilla), Ron Czerny (Playphone), Jonathan E. Stern (Red Bull Media House), Kevin Morrow (Samsung Media Solutions Centre) and Todd Daubert (SNR Denton). The elections took place at the international trade association's regional AGMs held in Miami as part of the third annual MEF Americas 2012. Ron Czerny, who previously chaired MEF's LatAm Chapter, was elected North America Chair by the new board, and Filipe Roup Rosa, business development director at Boku, was elected as MEF LatAm Chair. Former MEF North American Chair, Gary Schwartz was re-elected to the regional board and will take up the role of Special Representative to MEF Global.
