Monday 24 September 2012 | 14:24 CET | News
Oman operator Nawras has introduced Apple's iPhone 5 as well as nano Sim cards. The first assignment of iPhone 5 devices has been allocated to customers who pre-registered on the Nawras website. Additional stock will arrive shortly and be distributed in line with the pre-registration order, the operator said. Along with the iPhone 5, Nawras introduced the new nano Sim card which, at a fraction of the size of previous Sims, fits the new Apple device. Nano Sim cards will soon be available at all Nawras stores nationwide, for the same price as a standard Sim. Nawras said it will also soon launch LTE services to use on the new iPhone. For the next three months, all Nawras customers buying an iPhone 5 for OMR 499.9 will get 2GB of free data each month for the following six months together with a free nano Sim.
