New CFO for Maxis

Monday 9 June 2003 | 00:00 CET | News
MAXIS Communications has appointed Rossana Rashidi as its Deputy Chief Financial Officer. In a statement on Friday, Maxis said the appointment would be in effect until the current chief financial officer, James Broadie's contract ends in January 2004, following which Rossana will take over as the new CFO. Maxis chief executive officer, Datuk Jamaludin Ibrahim, said that one of the major objectives given to Broadie when he joined Maxis was to recruit a Malaysian successor. He said Rossana's expertise in banking and corporate finance would complement the Maxis' management team very well.
