Friday 14 February 2014 | 15:37 CET | News
The new Czech MVNO SazkaMobil introduced its offer at a press conference on 13 February. It will launch services on 18 February. SazkaMobil works on the network of Vodafone Czech Republic. When customers top-up at least CZK 300, they will pay a per-minute rate of CZK 1.50, and SMS to all networks will cost CZK 1.30. The operator applies per-second billing after the first whole minute. Customers will be able to top-up also at lower amounts, from CZK 200. The standard rates are CZK 2 per minute and CZK 1.50 per SMS. The MMS rate is CZK 5, irrespective of the top-up amount. The credit validity is always six months.

The big advantage of the new MVNO is a large sales network through the betting company Sazka (6,900 POS). The operator will provide a 24/7 customer line. SazkaMobil's number ranges will be 704 0xx xxx and 704 7xx xxx. The operator launched a massive marketing campaign, with expenditure of tens of millions of CZK.

The operator will also offer two packages: Package 100+100 for CZK 200 with 100 minutes and 100 SMS to all networks, and Package 200+200 for CZK 400 with 200 minutes and 200 SMS to all networks. Data packages in the offer will be as follows: Daily Internet 25 MB for CZK 25 and monthly 50 MB for CZK 150, 300 MB for CZK 200, 500 MB for CZK 250 and 1,000 MB for CZK 350.

The operator's CEO is Robert Chvatal, who previously worked as CEO of T-Mobile Slovakia and T-Mobile Austria.
