Ooredoo runs summer data promotion in Qatar

Qatari operator Ooredoo has launched a summer data promotion, offering a 50 percent discount on four of the most popular Hala and Shahry data plans. Customers can use as much as six times more data by upgrading their existing pack to one of the special promotion options. The offer is open to new and existing customers.

Postpaid Shahry customers can select monthly plans of 3 GB for QAR 80 (normally QAR 160) and 6 GB for QAR100 (normally QAR 200). Customers who upgrade from the 1 GB pack to the 3 GB pack can enjoy three times as much data for just QAR 20 more per month, or boost their data by 600 percent by taking the 6 GB pack. Shahry customers on any of the promotional packs will receive three monthly invoices at the special reduced 50 percent discount during the promotion's duration.

Prepaid Hala customers can select weekly plans of 750 MB for QAR 20 (normally QAR 40) and 1,500 MB for QAR 25 (normally QAR 50). Existing Hala customers who have renewed since 02 July are now on the special promotional price. All four promotions are available for Mobile Internet Packs, Mobile Broadband and BlackBerry plans, and the promotion will run until 30 September.
