Orange launches Hi 4G own-brand smartphone

Orange France has launched the Hi 4G own brand smartphone, following on the Yumo and Hiro models, which were also offered by other Orange's affiliates in Europe. Degroup News reports that the Orange Hi 4G is a 4.5-in handset running Android 4.4 built around a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm processor and offering a 5 megapixel camera. It comes pre-loaded with Dailymotion, Orange TV and other apps. The operator is selling for EUR 1 on an Origami 4G plan, starting with Origami Zen at EUR 29.99 a month. Customers on the EUR 19.99 a month M6 Mobile by Orange plan pay EUR 29.99. It is also available for customers of Orange's youth brand, Sosh. The Orange Hi 4G costs EUR 129.99 as a standalone phone. Echos du Net adds that the Hi 4G is a ZTE Blade Apex 2, sold by KPN tbe Smart 400.
