PHILIPS TO LAUNCH 'JOY OF SEX' ON CD-I

Philips will launch a CD-I version of 'The Joy Of Sex' on 15 October 1993, and will promote it as the main title in Philips' marketing plans for autumn 1993. 'The Joy Of Sex' will be the first CD-I title to have Full Motion Video (FMV) technology, renamed Digital Video for the consumer sector. The disc will have over 30 mins high-quality video, along with graphics and multiple audio tracks. 'The Joy Of Sex' cost almost GBP500k to make, in German, French, US and English versions.
