Procredit launches SMS banking

Democratic Republic of Congo's Procredit Bank is launching its SMS banking service on 3 February, announce deputy CEO, Carlos Kalambay in Kinshasa. Okapi radio reports that the service launched under the Ar-phone brand solves internet connectivity issues and prevents piracy on customer accounts. SMS-based transactions appear when customers turn on their phones, no money changes account and the password changes every three seconds, he added.
