PV unveils Twonky Beam Browser video app

US mobile video company PacketVideo (PV) has unveiled Twonky Beam Browser video streaming application for iPad and Android tablet users. Twonky Beam Browser allows users to browse web videos on tablet and beam them directly to any internet-connected TV, without connecting cables to devices. The Twonky Beam Browser homepage shows recommended websites with videos available to beam. Also users can browse websites not included in this list and beamable videos are indicated with a Twonky Beam button. Twonky Beam Browser features controlling videos and using the tablet to control playbacks, volume. It offers beaming video embedded in news articles to TV while continuing to read the article on the tablet. It also includes finding and adding as many videos to the beam queue and bookmark them for later viewing. Twonky Beam Browser will run on Apple and Android tablets and is available as a free download in Android Market or App Store.
