Tuesday 28 August 2012 | 15:16 CET | News
Dutch bank Rabobank has acquired the provider of mobile app MyOrder. While the takeover price was not announced, it's thought to be in the millions of euros. Rabobank said it will announce more details on 03 September. While the bank did not give the name of the acquired company, MyOrder founder Thomas Brinkman confirmed the deal, according to the site iPhoneclub. MyOrder allows users to order and pay in associated restaurants, at movie theatres and for home delivery service Thuisbezorgd. It has worked with Rabobank since 2010. Rabobank said the takeover will strengthen its activities in mobile payments.
