Cosmote Romania, Orange Romania and Vodafone Romania confirmed reports in the local media according to which they will launch Apple's iPhone 5 on 2 November. At present, only Orange Romania and Vodafone Romania accept online pre-orders for iPhone 5. Vodafone offers the 16GB model at the standard price of EUR 739 (with VAT) or along with various subscriptions. Orange Romania is offering the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models along with various subscriptions at prices between EUR 269 and EUR 569. Also on 2 November, Orange will launch a new offer for those who wish to buy iPhone 4S or iPhone 4 along with a subscription.
Orange customers also have the possibility to purchase the iPhone 5 and various accessories on 6 monthly installments and no advance payment through the credit cards BRD Finance, Banca Transilvania or Card Avantaj from Credit Europe Bank. Orange also launched a new version of the 'Contul meu (My account)' app that is optimised for iPhone 5. The app is available in the App Store as of 26 October. Moreover, Orange customers can choose from 40 various accessories for the iPhone 5 created by Kenzo, Accessorize and Zadig & Voltaire.
