Rostelecom brings Ethernet network to Uglegorsk in Amur

Russian national operator Rostelecom announced that it is expanding its network using Metro Ethernet technology in the Amur region. The network has been deployed in the town of Uglegorsk there and subscribers are currently being switched from the old copper network to the new network. Works are due for completion this summer.
