Rotterdam buses get Wi-Fi

Dutch public transport company RET introduced free Wi-Fi on buses in and around Rotterdam. A spokesman for RET told Nu.nl all buses will be equipped with Wi-Fi by Christmas. Information kiosks will be installed at bus stations and at important interchange points, providing and even printing out route information. RET won the transport tender in March with the condition it provide Wi-Fi services. The area bus system (Qbuzz) is also included in the tender, for seven years.
