Signature launches mobile shopping service for retailers

US-based technology provider Signature has launched its mobile shopping service for retailers. The service is also available as an iPhone app for consumers, TechCrunch reports, citing Signature CEO David Hegarty. The Signature mobile app provides customers with notifications about shopping events as well as information on in-store items, brands and new arrivals. Additionally, the app is designed to enable customers to make appointments and leave messages for sales associates. Sales associates will gain access to iPad apps which allow them to view customer information and product catalogues. Sales associates can see when a customer has entered a store and what items the customer is looking for.
