Slovakia plans cap on 800, 1800 MHz band holdings

Tuesday 13 March 2012 | 14:25 CET | News
Slovak regulator TUSR published two public consultations on frequency caps in the bands 800 MHz and 1800 MHz. TUSR plans to set a maximum amount of frequencies to be assigned to one operator, aiming to prevent spectrum concentration. The frequency cap shall take into account also frequencies assigned in the range previously. Comments can be submitted until 14 April. The consultation forms part of the preparations for the auction of frequencies in the 800, 1800 and 2600 MHz bands, planned for in May.
